My name is Michael Lucey and I am 21 years of age. This seems to be the page that is the most difficult to put together so bear with me. Here are some brief details about my personal life.

I come from Co. Kerry - the home of folklore, myths and dazzling sights. I live in the countryside just outside the village of Milltown. Milltown may be a small village but it is very central to all surrounding towns - Killorglin, Killarney and Tralee. I attended both primary and secondary school in Milltown so I never had very far to travel.For a small village it boasts several shops, pubs, two primary schools and a secondary school.

I have been living in Limerick now for five years so I regard it as my second home. I am a student at the University of Limerick and am currently undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Technical Communication. I also did my undergraduate studies here in U.L. I graduated last year with a B.A. in European Studies. As part of this course I majored in two languages - French and German. Taking this option was very beneficial as it provided me with many opportunities to travel. I enjoyed this course very much as we tackled subjects such as French and German culture, cinema and history.

I have four sisters - Margaret, Evelyn, Rosie and Eva. We range from the age of 23 down to 6 years. Margaret is the only one of us who has escaped the educational system - yet!! The rest of us are wondering if we will ever find a way out. We all get on really well so it is great to get home at the weekends. At the weekends the only one that is missing is Evelyn who is currently in Birmingham. Evelyn is in her final year at the University of Birmingham and is doing Tourism Studies.

I have many interests, some of which you will encounter in the following pages. I enjoy meeting new people, travelling, reading, listening to music, keeping fit and socialising. When I get home for the weekend I love to relax and take nice long walks in the countryside - it is a welcome break from the college atmosphere.
